KCNA Commentary Urges U.S. to Make Responsible Option
Pyongyang, August 5 (KCNA) -- The U.S., stunned by the DPRK's successful second test-launch of ICBM Hwasong-14, is going reckless.
Political and military circles have claimed that they would bring down the DPRK by igniting a war and take a destructive military action and that they are ready to use rapid, fatal and sweeping armed forces".
The U.S. let its B-1Bs fly into the sky above the Korean peninsula in a bid to present a "show of force to the north" and put on standby for sortie its F-35B, B-2 and other types of war planes based in Japan and Guam.
And it, together with the south Korean puppet forces, has staged missile-launching drill and intercepting-missile test presupposing the DPRK's ballistic rockets, allegedly to increase the military pressure upon the DPRK to the maximum.
This is a hysteric fit of those taken aback by the DPRK's continued demonstration of nuclear attack capabilities.
The more desperately the U.S. works to realize its ambition for "nuclear dismantlement of the north" through "maximum pressure and engagement", the more dynamically the DPRK has stepped up diversifying and modernizing the nuclear force before the U.S. and its vassal forces come to their senses.
Hwasong-12, Pukguksong-2 and other new types of strategic weapons showed their capabilities for actual war. And the successful test-fire of ICBM Hwasong-14, a final gateway to the completion of the country's nuclear force, proved that the U.S. mainland is within the striking range of the DPRK's weapons.
After 20-odd days, the DPRK carried out the second test-fire of Hwasong-14, dealing a telling blow at the empire of evils which is slapping extreme sanctions while letting out senseless war rhetoric.
The day when the DPRK is provoked means the end of the U.S. This is our stern warning.
To the DPRK, the call for military pressure made by the U.S. without reason sounds no more than rubbish and shriek of aggressor and rogue state stunned by the rapid development of the former's nuclear force and its might.
The policy-makers of the U.S. are so mean in their thinking faculty as they desperately try to check the DPRK's rapid progress toward the modernization of nuclear force while making bluff.
The U.S. should judge the trend properly, though belatedly, and make a responsible option.
If the U.S. provokes the DPRK by brandishing the nuclear club, despite its warning, the latter will clearly show its mettle with the nuclear strike means of justice. -0-
