Pyongyang, August 30 (KCNA) -- The U.S. is going busy, in alignment with Japan.
At a U.S.-Japan security consultative committee meeting in Washington
they issued a "joint statement" the keynote of which is the provision of
the extended deterrence of the U.S. to Japan and the cooperation in
military pressure on the DPRK pursuant to Japan's expansion of defence
capabilities.
In Japan the chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff was closeted
with the chairman of the Joint Staff Council of Japan' "Self-Defense
Forces" over the issue of the deployment of the U.S. Aegis missile
defence system in Japan.
Washington and Tokyo show increased military collusion as evidenced by
actual actions like joint military exercises by the U.S. marines and the
Japan ground SDF and the joint air exercises simulating the emergency
on the Korean peninsula by the U.S. air SDF and the U.S. air force in
Hokkaido.
This shows the collusion of the sworn enemies of the DPRK aimed to
realize without fail the ambition for the invasion of the DPRK, and a
dangerous military action to push the tense situation in the peninsula
and the region to the touch-and-go war phase.
Recently the U.S. and Japan have put spurs to increasing military
expenditure and bolstering military capabilities, and all kinds of their
strategic assets have been assembled on the Korean peninsula and in
Northeast Asia.
The U.S.-Japan nexus under the pretext of "the nuclear and missile
threats from the DPRK" reminds one of the days early in the last century
when the brigandish "Katsura-Taft agreement" was fabricated and fierce
moves were taken for the invasion of Korea.
What remains unchanged despite the change of the times and replacement
of generations is the U.S. and Japan's deep-rooted ambition for invasion
of Korea.
The reason that they are tightening military nexus is to hold junior
"ally" under tighter control and use it as a shock brigade in executing
the strategy toward Asia and in realizing the strategy for dominating
the world.
Crafty Japan is seeking to attain its strategic goal with the help of the U.S.
Taking the increased tension on the Korean peninsula as a "good
opportunity" for realizing the constitutional revision and the ambition
for emerging a military giant, Japan has now come out with its sleeves
rolled up in supporting its master's anti-DPRK war moves while
vociferating about the "threat from the north".
Their military nexus has become a serious threat to peace and stability on the Korean peninsula.
Tragic is that they are still unaware of the fact that such an act is
little short of stepping deeper into the optical sight of the DPRK and
accelerating self-destruction.
They should not be forgotten that the DPRK's toughest countermeasures
include a warning to Japan going wild, being unaware of its imminent
destruction, not just to the U.S. seriously threatening the sovereignty
and the right to existence of the DPRK.
The U.S. and Japan had better be thoughtful over the DPRK's warning. -0-
