Hyon Hermitage

Hyon Hermitage, which dates back to the feudal Joson dynasty (1392-1910), stands in Mt Jangsu in the central part of the DPRK. It perches on a 120m-high cliff, so it seems to hang on the edge of the rocky cliff. It gives a glimpse of high architectural skill of the Korean people.
