The British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea (BGSJI) and the Korean Friendship Association of the UK( KFA UK) issued the following joint statement in support of the press statement of the spokesman of the Foreign Ministry of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK ) which was issued on Saturday 11th of July concerning the recent NATO summit ;
Recently , NATO , an aggressive war alliance of Western imperialism held a summit in Turkey at which the US , Japan and ROK(south Korea ) held their own meeting on the sidelines of the summit and called for the "complete denuclearisation " of the DPRK despite the fact that the DPRK has rejected this dozens of times. The secretary general of NATO expressed the intention of NATO to interfere in the Asia-Pacific region and confront other countries.
The Foreign Ministry of the DPRK press statement rejected the interference of NATO in the Asia -Pacific region and expressed "serious concern over the fact that the U.S. and its vassal allies are adding an element of instability to the international situation through massive arms buildup, while being so engrossed in the unfounded and malicious politically-motivated denunciation of sovereign states and the strengthening of a military bloc of aggressive nature"
As to the so-called "denunclearisation of the DPRK " , the DPRK's status as a nuclear power is irreversible .
The press statement of the DPRK Foreign Ministry rightly draws attention to the efforts of imperialist Japan and the fascist ROK to acquire nuclear weapons . It would truly be a disaster for mankind if both of these states ever became nuclear powers . As the DPRK Foreign Ministry statement says it should be a priority for Japan and the ROK to denuclearise not the DPRK.
The DPRK will continue to take measures to defend its sovereignty .
We support the press statement of the DPRK Foreign Ministry . We believe that NATO should keep out of Asia where it does not belong!
NATO Out of Asia !
No the nuclearisation of Japan and the ROK !
