Speech of KFA Germany chairman to the online meeting about the 9th Congress of the Workers Party of Korea 14.03.2026

 Dear Comrade Dr. Dermot Hudson,

Dear Comrade Shaun Pickford,

Dear participants of this online meeting,

First of all, I want to thank Comrade Dr. Dermot Hudson and Comrade Shaun Pickford for organizing this very important meeting about the 9th Party Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea and for allowing me to speak today.

The Workers' Party of Korea is the ruling party of People's Korea. It was formed after the liberation by President KIM IL SUNG himself.

The DPRK, under the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea, has had to solve many problems and face many difficulties since Korea's liberation. Directly after President KIM IL SUNG liberated the fatherland, the US imperialists arrived and occupied the southern part of the Korean peninsula, establishing a fascist puppet state there. While the ROK looks like a sovereign state with its own currency, military, and government, in reality it is a neocolony of the USA. Comrade KIM JONG IL, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, put it this way:

"The colonial policy that the US imperialists are pursuing in South Korea today is the prototype of neocolonialism. They established a puppet regime in South Korea, made its economy completely dependent on them through 'aid,' forced the American way of life upon South Korea, and thereby destroyed the beautiful customs and traditions unique to our nation. They still maintain numerous aggressive troops stationed there and continue to enforce their colonial rule."

Then, on the 25th of June 1950, the US imperialists attacked the not even two-year-old Democratic People's Republic of Korea. And they didn't attack the DPRK alone; their vassal states helped them. Not just one satellite, not two or three, but 15 satellite states of the US imperialists directly participated in the US invasion of Korea.

The US imperialists bombed such large parts of Korea that they didn't know what to bomb anymore. They used biological and chemical weapons against the Korean people and murdered millions of people.

But despite the higher number of troops of the US imperialists and despite the much more advanced and modern weaponry of the US imperialists, the Korean People's Army, under the leadership of President KIM IL SUNG and the Workers' Party of Korea, was able to fight back against the US imperialists and force a ceasefire upon them. It was the first time the US imperialists had lost a war.

Under the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea, the DPRK achieved many things that a lot of people around the world can only dream about.

Thanks to the Workers' Party of Korea in People´s Korea:

- Taxes were abolished.

- Every citizen has the right to work, so there is no unemployment.

- Housing is free, so there is no homelessnes.

- Education, from kindergarten to university, is completely free.

- And healthcare, from dentists to hospitals, is completely free, no matter if it is for a broken leg or a birth.

All this despite enormous US sanctions and aggressions.

In the five years between the 8th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea and the 9th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea, the Party achieved miracles under the leadership of General Secretary KIM JONG UN.

Ri Il Hwan said during the Party Congress:

"Thanks to the wise and steadfast guidance of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, we could fill the days and months of the five years with the gigantic miracles and events we could not perform and bring about even when circumstances were favorable."

The great Comrade Kim Jong Un advanced the idea on building a comprehensively developed socialist state and the principles and strategies for political, economic, military, and cultural construction to put it into practice, the "Regional Development 20×10 Policy," the line of building armed forces in the new era, the definition of three elements for military capabilities, a theory on deterring any enemy's aggression by dint of powerful counterattack muscle, and other important programmes we have witnessed and received for the past five years. They are new and brilliant discoveries never to be found in the ideo-theoretical treasures accumulated by mankind and even in the treasure house of our revolution spanning one full century.

The 9th Party Congress decided to further strengthen the DPRK's nuclear capabilities and key industries. I am convinced that under the leadership of respected Comrade KIM JONG UN, the Workers' Party of Korea will continue achieving miracles and improving the lives of the people in Korea.
