34 years ago today , on the 24th of December 1991, the great leader comrade KIM JONG IL was appointed as supreme commander of the Korean People ‘s Army by the decision of the 19th plenary meeting of the 6th Central Committee of the Workers ‘ Party of Korea.
This was a landmark event in the history of the building of Juche -based armed forces and the Songun revolution .
Comrade KIM JONG IL victoriously led the revolutionary armed forces of Juche Korea to victory in the confrontation with the hostile forces
