BGSJI and KFA UK support the press statement of the DPRK Ministry of National Defence on the entry of a nuclear attack submarine into the ROK

    The British Group the Study of the Juche Idea (BGSJI) and the  Korean Friendship Association of the UK( KFA UK )  issued a joint statement in support of the press statement of the spokesperson for the Ministry of National Defence of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea(DPRK) that was issued on the 24th of December 2025;

On the 23rd of December the nuclear attack submarine the "USS Greenville " entered Pusan port in the Republic of Korea (south Korea ) . This comes only 6 weeks after th  the entry of the nuclear carrier George Washington strike group belonging to the U.S. Seventh Fleet into south Korea . This is a grave provocation against the DPRK . The spokesperson of the DPRK Ministry of National Defence correctly terms it as "grave act of causing instability and escalating military tensions in the Korean peninsula and the region."

This latest provocation by the US against the DPRK is part and parcel of the so-called strategy of "extended deterrence " on the Korean peninsula which is really about trying to overpower the DPRK with nuclear weapons and runs the risk of a nuclear conflagration.

In response to the nuclear pressure of the US imperialists the DPRK will secure at an early date   strategic retaliatory capability.

The DPRK will take corresponding counter-measures to defend itself .

We denounce the entry of the US nuclear attack submarine into the ROK . We support the DPRK's right to defend itself .
