ASSPUK, BGSJI, KFA UK and BSCPRKP support statement of DPRK FM director general of Department of International Organisations

The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK (ASSPUK) , the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, the  Korean Friendship Association of the UK (KFA UK  )  , and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification in Korea (BSCPRKP))  , issued the following joint statement in support of the press statement made by  Jo Chol Su, director general of the Department of International Organizations of the Foreign Ministry of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK ) on Monday 23rd of October;

On the 18th of October the United States used its power of veto on the UN Security Council (UNSC ) to stop a resolution in support of humanitarian access to the Gaza strip from being passed . In his press statement comrade Jo Chol Su director general of the Department of International Organizations of the DPRK Foreign Ministry  hits out at the US for its extreme double standards and hypocrisy .

The US has many times used the UNSC as a battering ram against the DPRK and other countries .It has railroaded many sanctions resolutions through the UNSC against the DPRK . However , the US did not want its ally or puppet Israel criticised or censured at the UNSC and blocked the resolution . The US patronises its allies and vassals and connives at their wrongdoing but it is happy to use the UNSC and UN as a platform to hurl slanders at anti-imperialist independent countries and try to undermine them using the UNSC.

The US cited the so-called 'right ' of Israel to 'self defence ' as the reason for its opposition to the UNSC resolution on Gaza . However , the US has repeatedly taken issue with the DPRK's right to self-defence even to the extent of putting resolutions condemning the DPRK's self-defensive activities before the UNSC and calling for sanctions against the DPRK for exercising its legitimate right to self-defence .

The hypocrisy of the US should be exposed and we support the call of the director general of the Department of International Organisations of the DPRK Foreign Ministry for the international community to denounce the US for its connivance at the crimes of its puppets such as Israel !
