Messages of support from the  Korean Friendship Association (KFA ) Germany and the People’s Korea Initiative of Poland were received . The message from KFA Germany said in part " It takes a lot of courage in these days of denunciation and discrimination against the

supporters of People ́s Korea to go out on the street and demonstrate against the manipulation of the people by the western mainstream media. You can all be proud of yourselves….Down with the British Brainwashing Corporation!

Down with Western imperialism!

Long live People's Korea!

Long live Marshal KIM JONG UN “

Dr Dermot Hudson , Chairman of KFA UK in his speech to the picket denounced the BBC for making a programme in connivance with the south Korean far right website the Daily NK pointing out that  “If the BBC were right about the DPRK by now everyone in the DPRK would have starved to death in the DPRK not once but several times ! .

The BBC does not have reporters inside the DPRK . In fact the borders of the DPRK were closed in January 2020 . So the BBC has no access to people in the DPRK.”

Dr Hudson also said that the DPRK has free healthcare , free education and free housing but abolished taxation . He also pointed out that the DPRK is an anti-imperialist socialist country that is on the side of the people of the third world .

Placards denouncing the BBC were held up along with the KFA UK banner and a DPRK flag . Leaflets were handed out to passers by.
