KFA UK and BGSJI denounce "Call of Duty 4- Modern Warfare " !

The British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea (BGSJI) and the  Korean Friendship Association of the UK  ( KFA UK ) issued the following joint statement denouncing the planned release of "Call of Duty 4; Modern  Warfare " 

We have learnt that the US plans to release an anti-DPRK computer game called " Call Of Duty 4 -Modern Warfare " which is about a fictional war on the Korean peninsula between the socialist Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK ) and the reactionary fascist puppet ROK.  The aim of these computer game is to falsely portray the DPRK as an aggressor state and demonise the DPRK on behalf of US imperialism.

The DPRK does not threaten the ROK or anyone else . It is the US that is keeping 30, 000 troops as well nuclear strategic weapons in south Korea as well as troops in Japan, Okinawa , Guam and the Philippines ..It is the US that since 1945 intervened in more than 150 countries and being involved in dozens of conflicts. Recent examples of US intervention are Venezuelan and Iran The US has a massive network 700  overseas military bases straddling the globe.

The game slanders the idea, system and policy of the DPRK. The DPRK's foreign policy is underpinned by the concepts of independence, peace and friendship. .The DPRK weapons are for self defence. They are weapons of justice defending the independence of the DPRK and its dignified socialist system.

The "Call of Duty 4 " game is reminiscent of earlier anti-DPRK propaganda of the 2010s such as the game "Homefront " and the film "Red Dawn " .

"Call of Duty 4-Modern Warfare " is deliberately aimed at indoctrinating young people ,gamers , with anti-DPRK ideas and a war psychosis against the DPRK in order to prepare them for an actual conflict with the DPRK. It is also about moneymaking and profiteering by the giant US capitalist entertainment monopolies .

KFA UK and the British Group For the Study of the Juche Idea strongly denounces "Call of Duty 4 -Modern Warfare "  and calls for a boycott of the game !
