BGSJI and KFA UK support the statement "Illegal anti-DPRK sanctions-breeding moves will precipitate the DPRK's behavioural counteraction to defend its sovereign right"

   The British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea  (BGSJI),  and the  Korean Friendship Association of the UK(KFA UK ) issued the following joint statement in support of the statement " Illegal anti-DPRK sanctions-breeding moves will precipitate the DPRK's behavioural counteraction to defend its sovereign right" that was made by the  chief of the External Policy Office of the Foreign Ministry of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea(DPRK ) on the 23rd of February ;

 The US gathered its lackey nations together to form a  "multilateral sanctions monitoring team" (MSMT) to replace the UN "Panel of Experts " on sanctions against the DPRK which became defunct owing to the veto of the Russian Federation. The US called a meeting of the "steering committee " of the MSMT . The MSMT consists so far of 11 countries ; US , UK ,south Korea ,Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands and  New Zealand but maybe enlarged and expanded to include other countries . Its creation is an unpardonable assault on the sovereignty and independence of the DPRK.

The   chief of the External Policy Office of the Foreign Ministry of the DPRK denounced the creation of meeting of the steering committee of the MSMT stating that "The "MSMT", formed by the states that are only doing harmful things, far from contributing to international peace and security, is nothing but an illegal, illegitimate and criminal ghost group in terms of the reason of its existence and purpose."

The DPRK clarifies that it would resolutely counter the sanctions of the hostile countries which are an act of infringing on the DPRK's sovereignty and legal rights . 

However  whilst sanctions are a hostile act against the DPRK , the DPRK is not afraid of them and does not intend to enter into negotiations for the lifting of sanctions . Indeed the massive sanctions of the imperialists have only hardened the DPRK's will to survive and to build up its country on the basis of self-reliance . The DPRK proudly declares that "The U.S. barbarous sanctions have made the DPRK more perfectly understand the way that it can survive, self-sustain and get strong despite the severest external circumstances. And they became a decisive factor that hastened the building of a powerful force no one can ignore before anything else." Guided by the Juche idea the DPRK can survive any sanctions .

We applaud the DPRK's Juche-based and self-reliant stance . We support the DPRK's resolve to defend its sovereignty against illegal actions of the US and its followers.
