Where is the True Paradise for Women?

 2022.3.8.

One hundred and twelve years have passed since March 8 was designated as the International Women’s Day at the second international socialist women’s conference held in Denmark in 1910.

Women in the DPRK, holding the benevolent father of people in high esteem, are leading genuine worthwhile life and happiness being endowed with the rights and dignity as full-fledged masters of the country.

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, regarding women highly as flowers of the country, of happiness and of family, is granting them all kinds of affection and care.

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un arranged a grand concert on March 8 International Women’s Day several years ago so as to extend his warm congratulations to women all over the country, and saw to it that up-to-date buildings–Breast Tumor Research Institute, Pyongyang Cosmetics Factory, etc., are erected wonderfully for women.

In October 2013, respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill. He personally selected the site for the lodging house to be newly built and took benevolent measures to finish the construction before May Day the next year even this means delaying major construction projects.

When the lodging house was completed as the workers’ palace and the workers’ lodging house which has no parallel in the world, he was the first to come here. At that time, he took solicitous care for the female workers to the minutest detail of their lives with parental affection, i.e. the wardrobe should be made long enough for the girls to put their traditional Korean dresses, low-beds should be placed, and the drawers be attached under the beds for the girls to put in their personal effects and so on.

Like this, under such fatherly love unprecedented in the world, the female workers were brought up as the full-fledged female revolutionaries who are turning firmly one of the wheels of revolution on the road of victory for dynamic advance and development of socialism.

In the capitalist countries, however, the desire of women to extricate themselves from social inequality and restriction is mercilessly trampled upon and they are subjected to constant misery and suffering, fading away in futility even till today.

At the very beginning of the new year, acts of violations of women’s rights are committed one after another in the Western countries. Three women in France were killed by their husbands and partners and a 24-year-old woman in Japan took her own life under the heavy pressure of all kinds of difficult living conditions and harsh labor.

On February 23, New York Times reported that the mortality rate of pregnant and nursing women in the U.S. are on the increase from 1987 onward, saying that the year 2020 recorded a 14% rise compared to the previous year.

On the other hand, the Ministry of the Interior of France announced that the number of domestic violence against women in 2020 reached up to more than 139,200 cases.

All the above is the inevitable outcome of the deep-rooted disdain for women inherent in the capitalist society where women are treated no more than “talking tools” and “child-breeding machines”.

The paradise dreamed by hundreds of millions of women across the 5 continents of the world beyond the century - this is being translated into reality in Korea where women of the whole country lead a happy life as flowers of the country, of life, and of family thanks to the politics of love of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un of highly regarding and respecting women.
