DPRK contrasted with the old USSR

                                                     

There is a big contrast between the old USSR under Khruschov and the DPRK . 16 months after the Singapore summit the DPRK has not dismantled a single nuclear weapon or ICBM but Khruschov pulled the missiles out of Cuba in just 4 to 6 days in October 1962.
It is worth mentioning as well that during the Cuban Missile Crisis the DPRK gave Cuba important political and material support to Cuba The staff of the DPRK embassy stated that they would take up arms and fight alongside the Cuban people to the end. Then, dressed in Cuban military uniforms, they turned out in the showdown with the US aggressors, to the admiration of the world’s people. The DPRK also sent a KPA general to be ambassador in Cuba .
