Commentary of AINDF spokesman

The US is going to hold the right of command in war and peacetime over the south Korean army through the UN Forces Command after transfer of wartime operation control to the south Korean army.

It well known to the world that south Korea and the US have pushed ahead to set up the future combined command at which the south Korean army takes the commandership and the US holds  deputy commandership after the transfer of wartime operation control.

However, the US said that it is unacceptable for the US army to be under the commander of other nation. It is insisting on exercise of the right of command in war and peacetime over the south Korean army through the UN Forces Command after transfer of wartime operation control.

It proves that the US has no intention to transfer its operation right to the south Korean army and it is going to dominate south Korea militarily for good through the UN Forces Command.

There are more than 200 nations in the world, however, no army entrust its command to the other.  

It is the result of disgrace and humiliation produced by the successive south Korean pro-US treacherous regimes.

It is disgusting that the south Korean authorities, that have entrusted the US with its command, advocate so-called independent defense.

Before saying its independent defense, the south Korean authorities should bid farewell to deep-rooted idea of subservience to great powers.

Broad segments of south Korean people should conduct a vigorous action to dissolve the UN Forces Command, a symbol of national disgrace and the source of fostering the danger on the Korean Peninsula.
