The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK (ASSPUK),the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE) , the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) and British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification (BSCPRKP) issued a joint statement in support of the statement issued by the spokesman for the DPRK-Japan Friendship Association on Tuesday 22nd of October:
Recently the reactionary Japanese authorities took a measure to suspend free kindergarten education for Korean children in Japan. This is an act of monstrous discrimination against Koreans in Japan by the deeply racist and fascistic Japanese state . As the spokesman of the DPRK-Japan Friendship Association said 'The exclusion of the children of Koreans in Japan, who are paying consumption taxes just like the Japanese people, from the waiver program is against the Japanese law and international law, which is also an intolerable act of national discrimination in view of humanitarianism.'. It is deeply unfair act as Korean residents in Japan pay taxes just like anyone else .
It is basically a denial of the human rights of Korean residents in Japan and an affront to the dignity f the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (CHONGRYON) .
This action by the Japanese authorities will only serve to worsen the already bad relations between the DPRK and Japan .
