The British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea (BGSJI), and the Korean Friendship Association of the UK (KFA UK ) , issued a joint statement in support of the press statement titled " We will respond to hostile forces' any option with stronger counteraction" issued by the External Policy Office of the Foreign Ministry of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea(DPRK ) on Sunday 4th of August ;
The war moves of the US imperialists and the ROK puppets against People's Korea have been unceasing and relentless . From the 30th of July to the 1st of August the US imperialists and ROK puppets carried out the "Iron Mace " nuclear operation drill at Phyongthaek U.S. military base in Kyonggi Province of south Korea . This proves the US and south Korea are putting into practice plans for nuclear war against the DPRK.
Meanwhile the US is increasing expenditure on the military and also talking about the open deployment of tactical nuclear weapons on the Korean peninsula . The US is also upgrading nuclear submarines as well as bomber aircraft and ICBMs the press statement of the External Policy office of the DPRK Foreign Ministry correctly observes " The provocative acts of the U.S., which has plunged the worrisome security environment of the Korean peninsula into a more dangerous phase to persistently escalate the danger of a nuclear clash in the region, clearly indicate the very one to be held accountable for the ever-worsening regional situation.
Today's world has faced the unprecedented danger of a nuclear war, for the U.S. has doggedly pursued its wild ambition for gaining the nuclear edge in disregard of global peace and stability and regional security environment."
The External Policy Office of the DPRK Foreign Ministry pledges that the DPRK will take all necessary measures to defend its sovereignty and security interests.
We support the DPRK's right to defend its independence and right to exist !
