This year Juche 113(2024) is a decisive year to make the succession of the struggle target occupation proposed by the 8th Congress of the Party by emphasizing the offensive on the front lines of socialism construction. Last year, we have successfully travelled through an important stage of our revolution under the wise leadership of the Party. This achievement is really great, but we should not allow ourselves to be in the moment and reply, but we should build a strong treasure from victory to greater victory.
Now we have 2 years of the5-year plan ahead of us. From now on, the direction of our struggle is to further expand and actively utilize the advantageous penalties and the national side gained through a full struggle to effectively realize the struggle lecture of the 8th party contest and lay the foundation for the new advancement in the future. We should use the achievements and experience of the past three years to make the remaining two years diligently committing to the decision and execution of the 8th Party Congress an effective process of preparing for the next level of development. Starting this year, the party's firm resolution is to give the main power to solve problems that are becoming obsolete or becoming stumbling blocks in the party decision making room, to expand the achievements so far, and to turn all planned tasks into shining results.
2024 is the fourth year of the implementation of the 5-year plan proposed by the 8th Congress of the WPK. There is a way to announce the results of three years of struggle to observe the impressive projects proposed by the 8th Congress of the Party and provide a definitive assurance of the completion of the 5-year plan.
This year, the problems are obviously creating obstacles and there are many problems that need to be resolved. But we will continue to innovate and move forward to a new page of comprehensive national revival as a year of great transformation.
Through the achievements we achieved in the implementation of policy decisions last year, we have gained the ability, confidence to exploit greater achievements, and the powerful power to run forward faster. When we accept the revolutionary ideology of the Party central committee as an absolute truth and thoroughly observe the ideals and policies of the party without any opposition, the situation that becomes centralized will be shaken and our mission to move forward vigorously towards the realization of our goals will be further promoted. Each Central Committee plenary meeting is unique in its nature, and this was also the case on the 9th Plenum of the Central Committee of the WPK.
The 9th Plenum of the Central Committee of the WPK give a new, strong impulse to significantly increase the efficiency, consistency and effectiveness of the activities of the party, all organizations and instances, so that it becomes an important premise for economic acceleration, the introduction of solutions for the current situation, not easy for DPRK on the international issues regarding to tense atmosphere and looming conflict from American imperialism in the form of military provocations of the south Korean puppets. It also stressed of the development of socialist democracy, searching for new areas of understanding and cooperation between working class and party leaders.
At the Plenum, a broad analysis of the changes introduced and progress in socialist construction and the development of the party was made after 8th Congress of the WPK in January 2021. The achievements are amazing and spectacular.
On the 9th Plenary Meeting of the WPK, among other issues, attention was paid to the activities of state power in both internal and external politics, paying particular attention to national defense and diplomacy and confirm the correct direction adopted at the eighth party congress.
The implementation of the five - year economic plan was assessed, paying particular attention to the development of national defense and giving high marks to the achievements to date in this area, expressed in the increase of military power, modern technology and combat equipment, and nuclear deterrence in its previously unprecedented effectiveness.
Attention was paid to the comprehensive development of social housing construction and reference was made to the proud successes achieved in the field of culture, including: science, education, public health and sports.
The proceedings of the Central Committee were prepared in a highly socialized manner, with widespread direct participation of basic party organizations. The discussion on the all issues raised by the C.C. of the WPK resulted in many valuable opinions, conclusions and proposals for improving the party's work. It has proven how huge, not always fully exploited, potential has WPK in their members.
Therefore, the party leaders and Respected Leader Kim Jong Un, performed the analysis to the subject of the existing mechanisms and forms of party work. It was expressed in the five - point line of building and functioning system of the party in the new era and in current conditions. So, the basic and innovative system and working methods of the party were examined and implemented. It strengthened the basic party organizations, their subjectivity in the life of the party and society, and set directions and methods for a deepest approach of the style of party work in the spirit of the Juche idea, in the process of modeling whole society in the Kimilsungism - Kimiljongilism, so that it responds to the complex challenges of modern times.
