Why You Should Oppose the Visit of Yoon Suk Yeol to Britain! (edited and updated version of article originally published in 'People's Korea Today ')

From the 20th of November to 23rd of November , the south Korean puppet fascist dictator  Yoon Suk Yeol will visit Britain at the invitation of the head of state of the UK  , King Charles III . The visit is very much about bolstering support for the south Korean puppets and image building for Yoon .

Yoon is hated by the south Korean people who hold massive protests against his regime . Yoon is compared to Hitler by the south Korean people .

The mainstream media likes to pretend that south Korea is ‘democracy ‘ and an ‘independent state’ . Yoon’s visit will be used to promote these false ideas but in fact neither is true . South Korea is a corrupt and reactionary fascist dictatorship . Under the ‘National Security Law ‘(NSL) that was enacted in 1948 , communist and leftist ideas are banned as well as open support for the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) .Violations of the NSL can be punished by up to 7 years in jail and even the death penalty can be applied . It has been forgotten and deliberately airbrushed out of existence that the fascist south Korean puppet regime executed the leaders of the Revolutionary Party for Reunification , the Strategic Liberation Party and the People’s Revolutionary Party . The south Korean puppets have blood on their hands ! Earlier this year the Yoon regime arrested activists of the Korean Confederation of Trades Unions for violating the NSL as well as activists from farmers groups , community organisations and members of an organisation called the Self-Reliant People’s Liberation Front .

The leader of the ‘opposition party ‘ in south Korea (there are no genuine opposition parties in south Korea and no communist or pro-Juche parties ) Lee Jae-myung was indicted a few days ago in a bid to derail the opposition party’s election campaign.

South Korean “independence “ is also illusory and mythical . South Korea was created by the bayonets of the US army against the will of the south Korean people who had set up people’s committees . South Korea is occupied by 40,000 US troops . The US holds the right to wartime command of the south Korean puppet army . Moreover south Korea is dominated  and controlled in the economic , political and cultural spheres by the US .

Yoon’s visit is also about ‘deepening’ so-called ‘co-operation’ with south Korea against the DPRK. In reality this will mean that Britain will get dragged into south Korean military moves against People’s Korea . Earlier this year in March British Royal Marines participated in the Ssangyong military exercise in Pohang of south Korea. Britain must not repeat its shameful past when British troops were sent to fight against the Korean people , against People’s Korea and against Korean reunification .

For all these reasons the visit of the puppet ruler Yoon to the UK must be opposed with No Ifs or Buts !
