Pyongyang, November 27 (KCNA) -- Elections of deputies to provincial (municipal), city (district) and county people's assemblies took place in the DPRK on Sunday.
People across the country gathered at the polling booths with a single mind to further consolidate the people's power and demonstrate once again the advantages of Korean-style socialism centered on the popular masses through the elections.
The elections were attended by revolutionary forerunners, who have covered the road of patriotism, cherishing boundless trust in the DPRK government for decades since the first day of Korea's liberation, the younger generation and other people of various circles.
The people's desire to uphold the DPRK government with pure conscience and obligation was fully displayed and all the workers across the country expressed their ardent patriotic enthusiasm in the elections.
Agricultural workers across the country, too, elected representatives of the people, expressing their will to devote their patriotic sweat and passion to the farm fields by firmly inheriting the spirit of patriotic peasants of the preceding generation.
The candidates for deputies were filled with strong desire and enthusiasm to further glorify the most advantageous socialist system in the world, bearing in mind the trust and expectation of the people.
The elections of deputies to the provincial (municipal), city (district) and county people's assemblies served as a significant occasion in demonstrating the high enthusiasm of all the people to consolidate the revolutionary power of the DPRK into an invincible fortress and achieve the prosperity and development of the great state, single-mindedly united around the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un. -0-
