The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK (ASSPUK),the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea (BGSJI), the Korean Friendship Association of the UK( KFA UK) and British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification (BSCPRKP) today issued a joint statement supporting the press statement issued by the DPRK Ministry of National Defence on the 16th of November;
The situation on the Korean peninsula has further deteriorated due the ceaseless and ongoing aggressive moves of the US imperialists and the south Korean puppets . Recently a meeting of the so-called 'UN Command ' in south Korea was held involving the US imperialist aggressors , the south Korean puppets and various satellite countries of the US including the UK.
A so-called "tailored deterrence strategy" was cooked up the US imperialists and their lackeys . In reality it is a plan for a pre-emptive nuclear strike on the DPRK . At the same the US imperialists have brought the Ronald Reagan nuclear carrier strike group to south Korea .
It is very clear that the US imperialists are planning a war against the DPRK ,they are planning to invade the DPRK and destroy the socialist system by force . In the past year the US has formed the so-called 'Nuclear Consultative Group ' and carried out numerous war exercises against the DPRK including Ulji Freedom Shield .As the DPRK Ministry of National Defence notes 'The danger of military confrontation has gone beyond the red line but military conflict has not yet broken out in the Korean peninsula. This is entirely because the armed forces of the DPRK are thoroughly deterring with their highly responsive posture the military moves of the U.S. and its vassal forces.'
The DPRK National Defence Ministry announces that it will control the threats to the security and existence of the DPRK by overwhelming counter-actions .
We support the militant will of the revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK to defend the independence of the Juche homeland !
