The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK (ASSPUK),the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea (BGSJI), the Korean Friendship Association of the UK( KFA UK) and British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification (BSCPRKP) today issued a joint statement supporting the press statement of comrade Kim Son Gyong, vice-minister for International Organizations of the Foreign Ministry(FM) of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) that was made on Monday 27th of November;
As is very well known the DPRK successfully launched into orbit the Malligyong-1 military reconnaissance satellite on the 21st of November 2023. Really the DPRK should have been congratulated by the international community for the great advances that it is making in space technology . However 10 countries including the US and UK that are members of the UN Security Council (UNSC ) issued a so-called 'joint statement ' condemning the DPRK and accusing it of breaking international law etc . All the countries that signed the statement are puppets , lackeys and vassals of the US who have no objectivity and just do what the US tells them to do .
Comrade Kim Son Gyong the vice foreign minister for International Organisation of the DPRK FM in his press statement points out that "The DPRK's reconnaissance satellite launch is a legitimate and just exercise of the right to self-defense aimed at correctly seeing through and thoroughly coping with the grave military moves of the U.S. and its followers, which are becoming more undisguised in their aggressive nature."
The 10 countries of the UNSC that signed the joint statement claim that the DPRK's military reconnaissance satellite is a threat to them . However they do not see the US's deployment of nuclear bombers and submarines on the Korean peninsula as a threat to the DPRK . This is the height of hypocrisy ,
As to the argument that the DPRK used a 'ballistic missile ' to launch the satellite , this is absurd because how else would a satellite be launched . Some of the countries that condemned the DPRK have launched satellites using ballistic missile technology and some of them have ICBM programmes . So they should not take issue with the DPRK over the launch of the Malligyong 1 .
Comrade Kim Son Gyong declares that the DPRK will continue along the path that it has chosen saying that "No matter what critical statements and harshest-ever sanctions the U.S. and its vassal forces may issue or impose, they can neither check the DPRK's exercise of its sovereign rights nor get what they want."
We support the will of the DPRK to continue to exercise its independent rights including launching more satellites.
No one can block the advance of the DPRK.
