The Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK) ,  the British Group for the Study of the  Juche Idea(BGSJI)  , the  Korean Friendship Association of the UK(KFA UK) and the British Solidarity Committee For Peace and Reunification on the Korean peninsula (BSCPRKP) issued the following joint statement on the successful test of the new type ICBM Hwasong -pho 18 ;

On the 13th of April People's Korea successfully tested a new type ICBM the Hwasong-pho 18  under the guidance of respected Marshal KIM JONG UN general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK). The test was carried out by the General Missile Bureau of the Korean People's Army . The Hwasong-pho 18 is a high-thrust solid-fuel propelled missile . It is mobile so it can be fired from anywhere in the DPRK at short notice . It is capable of hitting the US mainland .

Thus the means for the DPRK to defend itself from imperialism and deter war has increased . As the Korean Central News Agency said "The launching site, which was to witness once again an important event of great significance in the history of the development of the strategic force of the DPRK under the direct guidance of Kim Jong Un, was seething with the burning will of all the defence scientists and workers in the field of munitions industry to inform the whole world of the emergence of another powerful nuclear attack means of the DPRK and demonstrate the reliable nuclear war deterrence of the state"

The test fire of the new type ICBM Hwasong-pho 18 is the independent right of the DPRK . Moreover it is a just counter-action to the continuous military exercisess of the US imperialists and south Korean fascist puppets who are plotting forcible regime change and the overthrow of the socialist system of the DPRK . The improved war deterrence of the DPRK will greatly contribute to peace on the Korean peninsula and the Asia-Pacific.

The Hwasong-pho 18 test fire is another great victory for Juche , Songun and self-reliance . Congratulations to People's Korea !
