An online meeting to mark the significant April anniversaries of the DPRK in particular the 111th anniversary of the birth of the great leader President KIM IL SUNG the Day of the Sun and the 45th anniversary of the foundation of the International Institute of the Juche Idea was held on the 10th of April at 1800 hours via Skype
Participating were members of the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and KFA UK from London, West of England, Staffordshire, Yorkshire and Scotland plus a director of the European Regional Society for the Study of the Juche Idea. Also participating were KFA Greece, KFA Germany KFA Bulgaria, the People’s Korea Initiative of Poland and guests from different countries.
Dr Hudson Chairman of the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and Chairman of KFA UK introduced the meeting saying that it would soon be the 111th anniversary of the birth of President KIM IL SUNG, also that other important anniversaries of the DPRK fall in April.
The ‘Song of General KIM IL SUNG ‘ was played.
Dr Hudson in his presentation stressed that “To me, one of the greatest achievements of President KIM IL SUNG was he built a unique, Juche-based socialist country that was not a copy of another country and was quite different to any other socialist country. This is proved by the fact that the DPRK did not collapse when the USSR and other socialist countries fell in 1989 -1991. Many people fail to realise that socialism in the DPRK was and is an independent, Juche-based socialism centred upon the people .”
Alan Bolon KFA UK Organisation Secretary and head of KFA UK West of England read a passage about President KIM IL SUNG from the book ‘Global Farmy Songun Internationale ‘ by Dr Jahanghir Khan.
Referring to the 45th anniversary of the foundation of the International Institute of the Juche Idea, a director of the European Regional Society for the Study of the Juche Idea said that “Clearly the Juche Idea had attracted the interest and adherence of a very broad range of revolutionary and progressive forces prior to the foundation of the IIJI – indeed making it possible to establish it on this basis.”
The head of Staffordshire KFA and secretary general of the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea said that the IIJI ‘s foundation 45 years ago was an important event and that the IIJI has played an important role in disseminating the Juche Idea adding that the IIJI should diversify its actives .
Representatives of KFA Germany and KFA Greece expressed their solidarity with KFA UK and sent greetings for the Day of the Sun , the 111th anniversary of the birth of President KIM IL SUNG.
Dr Hudson said that the 11th anniversary of the election of dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN as supreme leader of the DPRK shows the proven leadership abilities of respected Marshal KIM JONG UN, pointing out that “Project after project, such as Mirae Scientists Street. has been completed.”
Dr Hudson also praised the 91st anniversary of the foundation of the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army (KPRA) saying that the KPRA is the forerunner of today’s Korean People’s Army which stands guard over Juche socialism.
A letter to respected Marshal KIM JONG UN was adopted.
