ASSPUK , BGSJI , KFA UK and BSCPRKP support DPRK Foreign Ministry statement

  The Association for the Study of Songun Politics(ASSPUK), the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea (BGSJI), the Korean Friendship Association of the UK ( KFA UK) and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification on the Korean Peninsula (BSCPRKP)issued the following joint statement in support of the statement of the DPRK Foreign Ministry that was issued on Sunday 12th of March ;

Today the US and south Korea began war exercises against People's Korea which include so-called 'leadership removal ' options so are basically aimed at overthrowing the socialist system  in the DPRK . The US have also prodded ther marionette the UN Security Council(UNSC) into holding a meeting on the so-called 'human rights situation ' in the DPRK . The timing is quite deliberate and cannot be a coincidence .

As the DPRK Foreign Ministry states We clearly see through the sinister intention of the U.S. again raising a "human rights card" which is little different from a good-for-nothing at present..

It is the inveterate evil practice of the U.S. that whenever it is driven into a tight corner as it can no longer contain the DPRK with the nuclear issue, it would resort to the moves for putting pressure on the latter over "human rights issue" with mobilization of its followers like rabbles. We have already got used to it."

We would also point out two things ; firstly , that the question of human rights is an internal issue of the DPRK therefore the discussion of it at the UNSC is totally illegtimate and a violation of the sovereignty and independence of the DPRK, secondly , there is no 'human rights ' problem in the DPRK for the UNSC to discuss because under the people-centred socialist system human rights are guaranteed including the right to work and right to eat .

The 'human rights ' issue being publicised by the US and other reactionary imperialist countries is basically not only a bogus one but it is a lever , in fact a battering ram to overthrow the socialist system in People's Korea and colonise it . As the DPRK Foreign Ministry statement points out "The anti-DPRK "human rights" racket by the U.S. and its followers has nothing to do with ensuring genuine human rights, and it is no more than the most politically-motivated hostile means for tarnishing the image of the DPRK and stamping out the genuine rights and interests of the Korean people."

The fact that the US has tabled the issue at the UNSC shows the hostile intent and ill-will of the US and its lackeys towards the DPRK . The DPRK is fully justified in taking meaures to defend its state and social system .

We fully support the right of the DPRK to take counter-action to defend  its independence and the people-centred socialist system .
