In July last year (2022 ) Medium.com carried out an attack on the Korean Friendship Association by an anonymous contributor hiding behind the name ‘Techjournalist’ .Of course it is easy to write slanderous articles under the cover of anonymity .
The article by ‘Techjournalist ‘ which is titled ‘No Future For the north Korea fixer ‘ does not contain anything new but merely regurgitates old slanders about the Korean Friendship Association (KFA )and its president Alejandro Cao De Benos but also on the Korean Friendship Association of the UK and myself (Dermot Hudson ).The author shows himself as someone who has been brainwashed by the mainstream media of the global elite or in fact really works for them or is even someone hired by the secret services of Western imperialism . The article is peppered with intelligence service jargon such as ‘open source “ (which means a source such as a publication or internet article rather than classified intelligence data) .
The article makes a number of false allegations against KFA President Alejandro Cao De Benos with regard to a Crypto -Currency conference that was held in Pyongyang , DPRK 4 years ago and not actually attended by Alejandro.
The article claims that KFA UK and Dr Hudson “Enlisted Meads and fostered him to become an integral tool for the protection of Hudson and his organisation” . This is an apparent reference to Alex Meads who was removed from KFA UK positions and from membership of KFA UK back in April 2019 after a serious complaint from a member and some long standing concerns about the suitability of Meads for a KFA UK role going back to 2017. Meads subsequently betrayed KFA UK by going to the anti-KFA NKNews and then mainstream media outlets . The idea that Meads was an ‘integral tool for the protection ‘ of KFA UK is a totally ludicrous statement and we wonder what planet that the writer of the article is on?. Meads was never enlisted in KFA(which makes KFA sound like the armed forces rather than a voluntary solidarity and cultural organisation ) but joined of his own volition and was keen to volunteer for work and to put himself forward for positions.The idea that Meads was ‘protection ‘ for KFA UK is clearly barmy.It is possible that Meads was turned against KFA whilst at university by his lecturers acting on behalf of hostile forces.Some say that Meads was a long term infiltrator but that is a matter of speculation but Meads had clearly gone off the rails in his last year in KFA .
Apparently , it seems to have offended the anonymous author of this hateful piece that KFA UK Chairman Dr Hudson actually complained to IMPRESS about an article written by Ferret , Scotland about KFA UK and himself . If journalists write lies about people then surely they are entitled to complain , this is only fair .In fact UK press laws are very weak indeed and offer the individual little or no protection against vilification by the media . .For example a journalist can write an article which can cause someone to lose employment but get away with it .Surely there should be a law making this both a civil and criminal offence.Journalists need to be held to account. Getting people dismissed from their jobs is a tactic used by the elite to silence dissent and it is also a weapon that has been used against the KFA .In 2014 KFA UK Chairman Dr Dermot Hudson was forced to take early retirement from a job he held for 25 years after a press article .
Techjournalist recycles stale old lies against KFA and Dr Hudson that were published in “Ferret ‘ Scotland and earlier by NKNews . The ‘Ferret ‘ is supposedly an ‘independent , journalism co-operative ‘ . However it is clearly a conduit for smears and propaganda from the intelligence services .Looking at the website of the Ferret there are numerous anti-China and anti Russia stories including one that claimed that Chinese restaurants were really bases for the Chinese secret police . Such a story is a modern version of the old 1950s myth that Chinese takeaways were spying outposts for ‘Red China’ , a story with a distinctly racist tinge as well being full of Cold War McCarthyite nonsense.
The Ferret article back in March 2020 contained a number of inaccuracies and was actually written by a journalist who also worked with the CIA front fake news website NKNews . However , when he contacted KFA UK Chairman Dr Dermot Hudson he did not make his connection with NKNews clear , if he had done so Dr Hudson would have refused to be interviewed by him.It is beyond any reasonable doubt that NKNews is in fact a CIA front organisation . Its founder was actually working for the German Marshall Fund of the US ,which is well known for its links to the CIA and deep state , when he set up NKNews and there is an overlap between their employment as a digital project manager by the German Marshall Fund of the US and the early years of NKNews . NKNews is known to receive funding from the US government . According to the Gov tribe website NKNews received $70,000 from the US government in 2022 and so far this year (2023) has received $11,000 dollars .
In the article Techjournalist tries to finger KFA Germany in true McCarthyite fashion by attempting to find and reveal the identity and address of the leader of KFA Germany .
Techjournalist in his article accuses KFA of “brainwashing" people but is that what the mainstream media are doing by constantly repeating lies about the DPRK and KFA , even trying to censor social media to suppress true information about the DPRK . The mainstream media and the establishment have massive resources and 24/7 ,round the clock propaganda they are in a far better position to brainwash people than KFA, even if KFA wanted to do such a thing.Our mission to not to brainwash people but to defend People’s Korea with No Ifs or Buts .
The article by Techjournalist is just another attempt by a media hack linked to the intelligence services to shut down KFA but he or she will fail . KFA is growing , every day new people are joining KFA and new branches of KFA are being established all over the world.
