Pyongyang, September 23 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), sent a reply message to Thongloun Sisoulith, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) and president of the Lao People's Democratic Republic (LPDR), on September 19.
He in the message expressed deep thanks to Thongloun Sisoulith for sending warm felicitations on the occasion of the 74th birthday of the DPRK.
The message noted that the relations of friendship and cooperation between the two parties and the two countries, established in the common cause for socialism, are now developing in conformity with the aspiration and desire of the two peoples.
It sincerely wished Thongloun Sisoulith greater success in his responsible work, expressing belief that the bonds of traditional friendship between the two parties and the two countries would continue to strengthen in the future, too. -0-
