The meaning and terminology of the term 'Era' is very significant. This importance is well suited to the present time that the DPRK is entering under the leadership of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.
The 'New Era' begins with the glorious and momentous 75th anniversary of the founding Workers Party of Korea and the celebrations on 10th of October this year on 'Kim Il Sung Square' in Pyongyang - the capital of DPRK. The 'New Era' is beginning with Kim Jong Un's historic speech at this event.
The 'New Era' for the DPRK, started with the speech of Kim Jong Un and the largest, finest military parade presented so far in the history of this country. It is a 'milestone' and great 'step forward' in the development of the DPRK.
One aspect of this historic speech that opens a 'New Era' for the DPRK is worth noting. It is the spontaneous tears of Kim Jong Un...
Why is that? Because tears are the greatest expression of love for his nation and confirmation of that, how much Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un loves his nation and is close to 'national heart'. Moreover ... It is a great and touching gesture not found ever in west capitalist's countries.

What is the 'New Era" characterized by? What are or would be its characteristics that distinguish it from other stages in the history of the DPRK?
The 'New Era' for the DPRK should be a new leap forward in building a modern, fully eligible - communist society, communist state. The 'New Era' should be a step forward from the transition stage - which is socialism, into socio - political system called: fully communism.
The Democratic People's Republic of Korea should move from the stage of the developed socialist society being now - to the stage of a fully communist society. There are full premises and conditions that meet these criteria. Already today, the DPRK’s economy, guided by the principles of self - sufficiency and independence, which derive from the guiding principles of the Juche Philosophy is an exemplary the best example of a planned socialist economy - according to the best rules and principles, values set out in Marxism - Leninism. Moreover ... it is broadly, because the DPRK developed the ideology of Marxism - Leninism on the new philosophical 'frontiers' in the Idea of Juche. In order to implement the further march towards full communism in the 'New Era' under Kim Jong Un, the economic policy in the military field should continue to emphasize the development of military potential according to the Songun Politics . The Songun Politics developed by Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, is one of most important factors of the solid base of foundations of the independence to DPRK internationally.
In the internal politics of the 'New Era' of the DPRK led by Kim Jong Un and the Workers Party of Korea, it should go further inside work to build up socialism. To continue with a strong and decisive step in the unity of the whole nation gathered in the construction of socialism. Strong unification, intransigence and ruthless will to adhere to the once - adopted political party line in WPK. Is a guarantee of future successes. The DPRK’s political system is the true democracy - based on a close ties constant contact with the working masses, with the ordinary citizens.
In the state's economy of the DPRK, the 'New Era' opened already by the Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, is characterized by an even greater effort of the entire nation to increase the economic potential and power. It is to use the opportunities of the growth economy that lie in the planned socialist economy and the enthusiasm of the Korean Nation, through the power of unity and ideological compactness in order to implement outlined aims. The economy of the 'New Era' in many industrial sectors will be enriched and increased to the new achievements and production stages. Issued related to the difficult reality of the mountainous geographic specificity of the DPRK country, new investments and economic facilities such as hydroelectric power plants will still be evaluated and repeated.
Continuation of the 'Korean Revolution' according to the 'New Era' by three directions: ideology, culture and economic - will aim at the transition to the stage of the implementation of the path of communist system by increasing the economic, military and social potential from DPRK's nation. The path of a fully communist system is the main task for the 'New Era' to maintain in all of 'areas' from the social, economic and political life of the DPRK country.
Economy, military and social development are the main keywords here though, are the keys to aim fully success in 'New Era' and is that about the strength of the country and society as a whole on the way for fully communism system as great idea of 'New Era' as well.
