Pyongyang, October 22 (KCNA) -- The 15th international seminar on combating neo-liberalism took place in Brazil from Oct. 9 to 11.
Attending the seminar were figures of political and social circles of Brazil and the DPRK ambassador to Brazil and foreign diplomatic envoys.
Speeches were made at its opening ceremony.
The DPRK ambassador to Brazil expressed thanks for the invitation to the international seminar on combating neo-liberalism.
He said that it is more urgent than ever before for the political parties and countries aspiring after socialism against imperialism to cooperate with each other now that the world suffers from the spread of COVID-19.
It is an expression of the international solidarity among the revolutionaries who support and cooperate with each other whenever they face difficulties that political parties of various countries sent congratulatory messages and letters to the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) on the occasion of its 75th founding anniversary, he noted.
He stressed that the WPK could be strengthened and developed into a great party which serves the people as it has been led by the outstanding leaders, adding the DPRK has emerged as a politico-ideological power, building a lot of monumental edifices and overcoming all sorts of trials and difficulties standing in the way of its advance under the guidance of the Party, despite the imperialists' moves to stifle it and a series of natural disasters.
At the end of the seminar, a photo exhibition took place in celebration of the 75th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.
Watching in admiration the photos dealing with proud successes achieved by the Korean people under the guidance of the ever-victorious WPK, the participants expressed their will to deepen solidarity with the WPK in the future. -0-
