The ASSPUK, Juche Idea Study Group of England and UK Korean Friendship Association today issued the following joint statement;

We denounce the south Korean puppet fascist  regime for brutal suppression of  the south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) and railway workers who turned out in a general strike to defend the right to living.
    The fascist crackdown on the KCTU and railway workers is a barbaric act of violating the elementary right to living and democratic rights of the popular masses, and an outright challenge to the righteous desire and wish of all the Koreans.
       It is impossible for the south Korean people to live in peace even a single day with the Park Geun Hye fascist regime in power  as it has been keen on reviving the nightmare-like "Yushin" fascist dictatorship through terror-ridden policy under the pretext of security and pursuing unpopular rule after seizing power by means of fraud,trickery and repression. The south Korean fascist regime of Park Geun Hye only represents the comprador capitalists, the Jaebols and foreign monopoly capital principally US and Japanese. South Korea is a society ruled by the 1% . Class contradictions are deep and irreconcilable.
                                The drive to privatise the railways in south Korea will cost
jobs and will deepen the ruinous 'neo-liberalism ' and 'austerity ' offensive of  the puppet regime against the south Korean people.
     Being driven into the extreme crisis, the puppet ruling class are vainly trying to find a way out by the suppression of the popular masses. However  it is a preposterous daydream.
    The masses' righteous desire and wish can never be dampened with bayonet.
    Fascist dictators going against public mindset and the trend of the times can never evade stern punishment by history.
    Workers, farmers and other toiling masses of south Korea who turned out in do-or-die actions for the right to existence will surely frustrate the fascist dictatorial rule and bring about new democratic society.
   The ASSPUK , JISGE and UK KFA  will always extend positive support and encouragement to the working people of south Korea in their just actions to defend right to existence and democracy and for independent reunification.
