BGSJI and KFA UK support the press statement "The ROK's scheme for possessing a nuclear submarine, which constitutes a new dangerous element to the security in the Asia-Pacific region, will certainly meet stranding"

The  British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the  Korean Friendship Association of the UK (KFA UK  )  , issued the following joint statement in support of the press statement of Jang Kum Chol, first vice-minister and director general of the Tenth Department of the DPRK Foreign Ministry , which was titled "The ROK's scheme for possessing a nuclear submarine, which constitutes a new dangerous element to the security in the Asia-Pacific region, will certainly meet stranding" and issued on the 12th of August ;

The press statement of Jang Kum Chol , first vice minster and director general of the Tenth Department of the DPRK Foreign Ministry draws attention to the plan of the ROK puppet regime to acquire a nuclear submarine . In May the ROK puppets announced the "Jangbogo-N Project"  to build a nuclear submarine by the 2030s. Of course this is not a new stratagem by the ROK puppets but it is a long standing plan that goes back over 20 years .

The ROK puppets invoke the false spectre of a "nuclear threat " from somewhere but in fact the ROK puppets have a hidden agenda which is to acquire nuclear armaments and become a nuclear power . Such a thing would cause a spiralling nuclear arms race in north east Asia.

Already the so-called AUKUS (Australia , UK , US ) nuclear war alliance is already in existence . If the ROK acquires a  nuclear submarine and nuclear weapons it will mean that a second nuclear war alliance , the ROK-US -Japan  alliance will exist in the Asia Pacific region.

Peace loving and progressive people of the world should pay attention to these ill boding developments and campaign against the attempts of the ROK puppets and Japan to become nuclear powers.

The DPRK is resolute in maintaining a deterrent power against its enemies .

We support the correct stand of the DPRK.
