The Korean Friendship Association of the UK(KFA UK) and the British Group For the Study of the Juche Idea held an online meeting for the 114th anniversary of the birth of the great leader comrade KIM IL SUNG on the 14th of April at 1900 hours BST via Jitsi meet . The event was participated in by members of the KFA UK and BGSJI from London , West of England , Staffordshire and the north west as well as international guests from KFA Andalusia, KFA International ,KFA Germany, KFA Greece and the People’s Korea Initiative of Poland .
A message was received from KFA Cambodia which read as follows “Dear Dr. Dermot Hudson and all respected comrades of KFA UK and dearest friends of Juche Korea,
Warm congratulations to the Korean Friendship Association UK on your great event honouring President Kim Il Sung.
This occasion highlights the distinct character of Korean-style socialism, often associated with principles of self-reliance, sovereignty, and national unity. Under the great leadership of Comrade Dermot, KFA UK remains the most active branch and continues to be the truest friends of Juche Korea.

The secretary general of the British Group For the Study of the Juche Idea and head of Staffordshire KFA UK gave a presentation about the people-oriented policies of President KIM IL SUNG stressing how President KIM IL SUNG always improved the living standards of the Korean people . The speaker pointed out that rice is subsidised by 88 per cent so that is almost free . The speaker said that Korean workers receive a huge amount of benefits from the state.
Alan Bolon head KFA UK organisation secretary and head of KFA UK West of England said that “On the occasion of the 114th anniversary of President Kim Il Sung birth, we recall his great achievements.
The achievement and exploits are the premises and foundations of today's successes. Kim Il Sung is the founder of the world's strongest well organized political organization: Workers' Party of Korea. Kim Il sung is the founder of the strongest of the world military power: Korean People's Army, and also before all is the founder of the current Asian superpower, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.”
Dr Dermot Hudson chairman of KFA UK and Chairman of the British Group For the Study of the Juche Idea concluded that “ the success of Korean style socialism that was founded by President KIM IL SUNG ,can be attributed to the four characteristics that I have outlined above . Let ‘s us salute the 114th anniversary of the birth of President KIM IL SUNG and increase solidarity with People’s Korea the bastion of socialism.”
The head of KFA Germany said that “ President KIM IL SUNG is probably the greatest leader the world has ever seen. I could probably talk hours about his achievements and victories, but I will try to focus on, from my point of view, his biggest achievements”
The head of KFA Greece extended greetings to the meeting.
A short documentary “President KIM IL SUNG Lives Forever “ was screened .
