BGSJI and KFA UK support the statement of the spokesperson of the DPRK Foreign Ministry

The British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea (BGSJI) and the Korean Friendship Association of the UK ( KFA UK) issued the following joint statement in support of the press statement of the spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry (FM) of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK ) issued on the 2nd of April with regard to the recent "resolution " of the "UN Human Rights Council " attacking the DPRK over the so-called "human rights issue ";

Recently the UN Human Rights Council adopted an anti-DPRK 'human rights 'resolution which was mostly sponsored by imperialist and reactionary countries with very few countries of the global south sponsoring it . The DPRK deems the resolution to be illegal . Moreover the "resolution " is a product of some countries pathological hostility to the DPRK and also aimed at overthrowing the socialist system and turning the northern half of Korea into a colony of global capital. In our opinion the UN is just a tool of US imperialism .

The spokesperson of the DPRK Foreign Ministry states that the adoption of the resolution is  "a grave political provocation to the dignity and sovereignty of the DPRK and denounces and rejects it in the strongest tone."

The DPRK is a people-oriented state so there is no human rights problem there as we have stated on many occasions.

The spokesperson of the DPRK Foreign Ministry points that the UN Human Rights Council should instead turn its attention elsewhere  to matters that require immediate attention (and action ) saying that  "In the Middle East, massacres are being committed one after another to put the crimes against humanity committed during the Second World War into the shade. Even, more than a hundred of children, to be specially protected in any case, became the targets of precisely guided weapons to be killed. Such a tragedy has been a daily occurrence in that region.".

Really the UN should investigate the crimes of Israel and the US !

We join with the Foreign Ministry of the DPRK and the progressive people of the world in denouncign the anti-DPRK human rights resolution !
