The Association for the Study of Songun Politics ,the  Juche Idea Study Group of England , the UK Korean Friendship Association (UK KFA ) and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification (BSCPRKP) issued the following joint statement in support of the
commentary, titled "Smear Campaign for what ? " of  Han Yong Song, a researcher of the Institute for American Studies of the DPRK Ministry of Foreign Affairs and basically condemning the hostile anti-DPRK campaign of the US :
Recently the US  Department of Justice charged a supposed DPRK citizen "Pak Jin Kyok" with carrying out cyber-warfare against the US in particular the hacking of the Sony corporation . Simultaneously the US Treasury Dept imposed sanctions on "Pak Jin Kyok" and a  DPRK company the  Korea Expo Joint Venture Company.
Researcher Han Yong Song rightly denounces this  as "The U.S. farce of prosecution is none other than a vicious slander and another smear campaign full of falsehood and fabrication designed to undermine the DPRK.". This is indeed true . In actual fact "Palk Jin Kyok " does not exist in the DPRK and the DPRK has nothing to do with cyberwarfare .
The fact that these allegations have come from US state bodies rather than media outlets should be seen as a very bad sign . It is clear that the US is contuining its hostile anti-DPRK policy and acting  in a very two-faced and hypocritical manner .
As Han Yong Song points out  in fact there are many examples of the US carrying out cyber warfare and bugging telephones of leaders.
If the US continues along the road of making false allegations and unwarranted charges against the DPRK then what has been agreed at the Singapore summit will be imperilled and even negated . The US must drop its hostile anti-DPRK policy if it wants a genuine improvement in relations with the DPRK .
