Pyongyang, April 20 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, sent a congratulatory message to Miguel Mario Diaz-Canel Bermudez, president of the Council of State of the Republic of Cuba, Friday.
In the message Kim Jong Un sent the warmest congratulations to Miguel Mario Diaz-Canel Bermudez upon his election as president of the Council of State of the Republic of Cuba at the 9th Legislative Session of the National Assembly of People's Power of Cuba.
The message said that his election as the president of the Council of State of Cuba was a manifestation of the firm will of the party and government of Cuba to defend the valuable gains of the revolution, which the Cuban revolutionaries of the first generation gained, and to continuously advance along the road of socialism, and an expression of the trust and expectation of all the Cuban people for him.
Expressing the firm belief that the fraternal bonds of friendship between the peoples of the two countries provided by the preceding leaders would invariably strengthen and develop in the future, too, the message sincerely wished him register great success in his responsible work in good health. -0-
