The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE) ,the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) and the UK Preparatory Committee For the 2017 Gathering to Praise the Great Persons Born of Mt Paektu issued a joint statement in support of the National Peace Committee of Korea of the DPRK issued on Friday 22nd of July:
  Our organisations suppor this statement because it is essential that the south Korean people and world peaceloving people turn out in the struggle against the deployment of THAAD. South Korea is
now being converted into a forward nucleat attack base of the US imperialists and indeed a so-called
"unsinkable aircraft carrier " .
   THAAD means that the south Korean people and Korean nation as a whole are exposed to the danger of a nuclear holocaust .
    The south Korean people are now struggling  against the deployment of THAAD and organising
all kinds of excellent protest actions including direct action.
   We support the struggle of the Korean people north and south  agains the US moves to ignite a nuclear war . US bases in south Korea must be dismantled and weapons withdrawn.
