The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE) ,the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) and the UK Preparatory Committee For the 2017 Gathering to Praise the Great Persons Born of Mt Paektu issued a joint statement supporting the excellent statement of the government of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea on the denuclearisation of the Korean peninsula;
   The DPRK government have made it clear that they are committed to the no-first use of nuclear weapons something which the US have consistently refused to do so.  The DPRK have worked for the denuclearisation of the Korean peninsula as well as global denuclearisation . However the US imperialists and their miserable south Korean puppets are raising a clamour about the fictious "threat" from the DPRK's nuclear deterrent and have refused to replace the armstice agreement with a peace treaty on the spurious pretext that the DPRK needs to abandon its nuclear weapons first. This is really putting the cart before the horse or confusing cause with effect .
  We support the five point demands raised by the DPRK government which are as follows
1. All the nuclear weapons should be opened to public, first of all, which the U.S. has neither acknowledged nor denied after bringing them to south Korea.
 2. All the nukes and their bases should be dismantled and verified in the eyes of the world public.
 3.The U.S. should ensure that it would never bring again the nuclear strike means to south Korea, which the U.S. has frequently deployed on the Korean peninsula and in its vicinity.
  4. The US should commit itself to neither intimidating the DPRK with nukes or through an act of nuclear war nor using nukes against the DPRK in any case.
 5.The withdrawal of the U.S. troops holding the right to use nukes from south Korea should be declared.
   These demands represent a positive and comprehensive programme to achieve peace and security on the Korean peninsula . If the US and south Korea truly want peace they should accept the demands. It is really up to the US and south Korea whether the Korean peninsula is denuclearised and whether peace prevails or not. We support the stance of the DPRK to bolster its nuclear deterrent if the US does not positively respond to these demands.
  We believe that the world progressive and peace loving peoples should launch a dynamic campaign in support of these proposals.
