Pyongyang, June 26 (KCNA) -- Mass rallies took place in all provinces of the DPRK on June 25, the day of struggle against U.S. imperialism.
Present there were officials of local Party, power and economic organs and working people's organizations, working people, youth and students.
Representatives of various circles made speeches at the rallies.
The speakers said that they vividly remember the three years of the horrible war in which the whole area of the northern half of the republic, pulsing with new life, was reduced to ashes due to the atrocities of the U.S. imperialist beasts, and the blood of innocent people was flowing like a river in all parts where the enemies' dirty footsteps reached.
They said that the DPRK is firmly armed with the treasured nuclear sword of retaliation to annihilate the enemy as the land should not be trampled down again under the feet of the aggressors and the hard-fought history of June 25 should never repeat itself.
They stressed that if they forget the immutable truth of history that the aggressive nature of the U.S. imperialists and class enemies can never change whatever the days pass like the leopard cannot change its spots, the eyes of the class will be blind and the disaster of June 25 will repeat itself.
They called upon all officials and working people to conclude the confrontation with the U.S. which has lasted through generations and centuries under the leadership of the Party and build the most powerful country envied by the world on this land without fail.
