The International Central Committee for Songun Study issued the following statement in support of the Report of the General Staff of the Korean People's Army (KPA ) that was issued on the 7th of November ;
The General Staff of the KPA issued a report detailing the counter-measures taken by the KPA in response to the US imperialist and south Korean fascist puppet aggression . The US imperialists and south Korean fascist puppets carried out the Vigilant Storm exercises from the 31st of October to the 5th of November . The Vigilant Storm exercise was named after Operation Desert Storm , which was the US invasion of Iraq in 1991 in the first Gulf War .
From the 2nd of November to the 5th of November the Korean People's Army carried out corresponding actions which included missile tests and air strike exercises . This were most impressive as well as being a just self-defensive measure . The actions of the KPA were to defend the independence of the DPRK and are the independent right of the DPRK .
We believe that the invincible KPA under the command of respeced Marshal KIM JONG UN , an ever-victorious iron willed brilliant comander of Songun , will achieve vctory not only reliably defending People's Korea , the socialist fortress of Juche but also reunify the divided country .
