Speech of Alejandro Cao De Benos to the KFA International Meeting , Copenhagen , Denmark 16.11.2019

Dear Comrades and friends,

First of all I thank you for gathering here today and accept my apologies because my passport is still retained by the abuse of the Spanish court and I cannot join you on this special occasion.

President Kim Il Sung is the example that a human being can do supernatural things. That the will for liberation and love to the people can overcome any obstacle and enemy, no matter how big it is.

He never thought of himself and he was always next to the people to learn on how to improve the country and living standards.

On August 31, 1975, President Kim Il Sung met Inomata Hisao, Managing Editor of Japan’s Kyodo News Service.

At the lunch, Inomata inquired about issues concerning Korea’s economic fields–industry, agriculture and mining.

The President gave clear-cut answers to his questions. Inomata was deeply impressed by  Kim Il Sung’s profound  knowledge, and said: “Your Excellency Mr. President, you are better informed than the experts on several sectors of the national economy. Your range of knowledge is truly exceptional.”

He replied: “I always go among the workers, farmers and scholars to talk to them. People offer me many good opinions. If one mingles with the masses, one will not commit the error of being subjective.”

He went on to say that, as the farmers had rich experience of agriculture, whereas the agronomists worked mainly with books, he could learn a lot from them.
“The masses, including the farmers, are my teacher.”

Such answer clearly demonstrates and destroy the western concept that the DPRK is a dictatorship. Contrary to that, People's Korea is the most democratic country in the world, where every leader and high official gathers the opinion of the masses that have the knowledge and expertise in each field, in many cases gathered from father to son for centuries.

It also showcases the humble nature of our Eternal President, always willing to learn and listening to others' opinion.

Like a father to his children, he always thought of others before himself and his optimism and friendliness made everybody to be happy around him.

One time he was asked by a foreign delegation, what was the secret for his lasting youth. He replied:

“The secret is, before anything else, to live optimistically without any worries, even if the heaven falls apart.”

This philosophy is the engine and source of happiness for the human being and any society. Though history and many cultures it is said that 'Happiness' is mainly an internal state of mind, and not created by external factors. Meaning that even if a person is fighting in a battle with bombs falling around him, he could be happy because he is fighting among his comrades for a superior cause.

Is for that reason also that so many thousands of soldiers sacrificed and volunteer to defend and build the new Korea leaded by President Kim Il Sung.

Learning from his life, we also can be more happy and use that optimism in life to make a better world.

President Kim Il Sung and Generalissimo Kim Jong Il will always be with us!!
Long live our Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un!!
Long live the KFA!!
