REPORT OF SKYPE MEETING OF ASSPUK , JISGE AND UK KFA TO MARK THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE ELECTION OF THE GREAT LEADER COMRADE KIM JONG IL AS GENERAL SECRETARY OF THE WPK AND 72ND ANNIVERSARY OF THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORKERS PARTY OF KOREA

The Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK , Juche Idea Study Group of England and UK Korean Friendship Association held a Skype meeting and seminar to mark the 72nd anniversary of the foundation of the Workers Party of Korea and the 20th anniversary of the the election of the great leader comrade KIM JONG IL as general secretary of the Workers Party of Korea . Participating the meeting were members of the ASSPUK, JISGE and UK KFA from London, Bedford , Peterborough , Derbyshire and Stoke-On-Trent .
Dermot Hudson chairman of the JISGE , President of ASSPUK and chairman of UK KFA opened the meeting saying that the anniversary of the foundation of the WPK is a very important event. The WPK was founded independently and its roots were in the anti-Japanese revolutionary armed struggle. In some countries communist parties were not formed indpendently but were formed by the COMINTERN . In some colonial countries that the communist parties were little more than branches of the communist parties in the metropolitican countries , for example the Irish Communist Party was really a branch of the British CPGB. However the Korean communist led by the great leader President KIM IL SUNG followed the independent , Juche-orienated road of party building.
Dr Hudson said " The Korean people under the banner of the red flag of the WPK built an advanced socialist system. Korea was transformed from being once a colony into a powerful socialist country of Juche , a country that is independent, self- sufficient and self- reliant in defence. Korea which had once not been able to make even the simplest weapons for itself became a socialist nuclear power, an advanced nuclear power of Juche with ICBMs , that are capable of hitting the US mainland This is due to the Songun revolutionary leadership of the great leader comrade Kim Jong Il and the WPK as well by the brilliant line of building the economy and nuclear force in parallel put forward by dear respected comrade Kim Jong Un
The WPK is the mother party that takes care of the peoples lives. Free education and free health care were introduced, long ago, indeed the free health system was introduced in the flames of war in 1953. Korean people receive great social benefits such as free housing and taxation was abolished in 1974. Now under the leadership of dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un the WPK is pushing forward all manner of projects to improve living standards. . Thus the DPRK is becoming a people's paradise the envy of the world people and the model that the world revolutionary people dream of.
The WPK under the guidance of the great leaders comrades Kim Il Sung,Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Un has united the people solidly around itself, achieved single-hearted and single-minded unity the like of which is not seen anywhere else in the world. The WPK has achieved total oneness of ideology , a unique feat in the international communist movement. The leader , party , army and people form an integral harmonious whole . No other country in the world knows such unity and amity . This is due to the outstanding leadership of the great leader comrade Kim Il Sung and his Juche-orientated theories on party building. This has splendidly carried forward by the great leader comradeKim Jong Il who has built up the WPK as the party of the great leader comradeKim Il Sung. "
The secretary general of the JISGE said that the WPK ensured the continuity of leadership whereas other parties did not , for example the Soviet Union after the death of Stalin and China after the death of Chairman Mao. A UK KFA member, said that the USSR deteriorated after Khruschov took over and referred to the book the "Eternal People's Sun" by Dr Hudson.
Speakers stressed that the WPK had travelled along the road of independence
The secretary general of JISGE " read out some passages from the work of dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN "The Cause of the Great Party of comrades Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il is ever-victorious " . He pointed out that the WPK have never compromised , that the WPK ensured the DPRK was independent as the DPRK did not join the Warsaw Pact, CMEA or Inter-Cosmos. The UK KFA Commissar said that China had disgracefully betrayed socialism but the WPK and DPRK upheld socialist principles. The UK KFA Communications Secretary said "Long live the Workers Party of Korea ".
Dr Hudson made a short speech on the 20th anniversary of the election of the great leader comrade KIM JONG IL as general secretary of the WPK. He said that "The decision to unanimously elect the great leader comrade Kim Jong Ilas the general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea reflected the yearning of the WPK members and entire Korean people to have the great leader comrade Kim Jong Il as the general secretary of the Workers Party of Korea . It was also a manifestation of the deep trust and support for the great leader comrade Kim Jong Il who had been leading the party for many years after starting work at the Central Committee of the WPK in 1964. The great leader comrade Kim Jong Il was the successor to the great leader comrade Kim Il Sung who carried forward the Juche revolutionary cause and cause of Juche party building." Dr Hudson added that he remembered seeing on a documentary the scenes of jubilation when comrade KIM JONG IL was elected general secretary of the WPK.
Meeting concluded at 21.15 hou
