The opposition Liberty Korea Party, which elected Lee Myung-bak and Park Geun-hye, masters of corruption, to president and engaged itself in acts against the nation, reunification and popular masses, is mired in a bottomless abyss.

It is an objective comment that the LKP is better to be dismantled rather than existence. According to an opinion poll conducted by south Korean media, 76 percent respondents have no good feeling toward the LKP. The LKP is at an all-time low among political parties. Only 15 percent respondents have friendly feeling toward the LKP. It is next to impossible that the LKP would win in the election. The LKP is dwindling away to nothing. 

The LKP is suffering declining popularity rating, it would face disunion due to lack of leadership, the head of the opposition Righteous Future Party noted. 

It has indulged in interminable partisan strife, it is a precarious party as it consists of conservative force and it has no future, he said.  

It stands to reason that the LKP is deserted and rejected by the south Korea

UK KFA Condemns stance of the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office on UNSC Sanctions against People's Korea!

London 25th of October  2018

The UK Korean Friendship Association today issued the following statement in response to the statement issued by the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office(FCO) on the 24th of October;
  Earlier this month the UNSC sanctions implementation committee slapped sanctions on 3 more ,ships including a DPRK flagged vessel , for allegedly breaching sanctions on the DPRK . On the 24th of October the UK FCO issued a statement applauding this saying that " The UK welcomes the announcement by the UN’s 1718 Committee that it has listed three vessels for engaging in sanctions evasion". The statement also added that the UK along with the US , Australia , France , Canada , New Zealand and Japan is contributing to the sanctions enforcement .The UK FCO called for a halt to all sales of refined petroleum to the DPRK !
     So basically the UK FCO is not just supporting the sanctions by is calling for what amount to a total blockade of People's Korea in order to suffocate it's socialist system .
   There have been no DPRK nuclear tests for over one year and the last missile test was nearly one year ago so there is no longer a pretext or justification to continue to impose sanctions on the DPRK . Moreover 3 inter-Korean summits have taken place and a DPRK -US Summit so that the situation on the Korean peninsula has changed radically and a new atmosphere of peace and dialogue is now
prevailing . Imposing sanctions on the DPRK is not conducive to dialogue and will only serve to
complicate the situation on the Korean peninsula.
  UK KFA has always rejected the sanctions on the DPRK . They are illegal sanctions which never had any justification in the first place and are really regime change sanctions aiming at suffocating the DPRK and destroying the socialist system.
 It is indeed shameful that the UK government is taking a stand which runs counter to the mood of peace on the Korean peninsula and can only serve to undermine moves towards  a lasting peace.
  UK KFA strongly denounces the reactionary and anachronistic  stance of the UK FCO. We call
for an end to the reactionary anti-DPRK policy of the British establishment and for the UK to
stop interfering in the Korean peninsula . All British warships deployed in the region must be
withdrawn !

Rodong Sinmun Warns Australia against Its Reckless Moves

Pyongyang, October 25 (KCNA) -- Australia sent a frigate to the waters around the Korean peninsula, talking about support for the "implementation of sanctions".

A senior military official of the country announced this fact at a press conference. The official said that the said frigate would be aided by reconnaissance planes based in Japan and that it shows the efforts of Australia to put economic and diplomatic pressure on the DPRK.

In this regard, Rodong Sinmun points out in a commentary Thursday that Australia is seeking to destroy the hard-won peaceful atmosphere of the Korean peninsula and the region.

It has become clear that Australia is displeased with the trend of peace in the Korean peninsula and the region, the commentary says, and goes on:

When many countries raise their voices at the United Nations that anti-DPRK sanctions should be relaxed or lifted, Australia is going against it. This fact shows that Australia has not abandoned its force of habit as a puppet.

Australia should clearly know that the DPRK is a dignified socialist state advancing by dint of self-development and science and technology and that economic sanctions or diplomatic pressure can never work on it.

If Australia is interested in the regional situation even a bit, it should behave itself, squarely seeing the trend of the times.

In case the affirmative atmosphere created on the Korean peninsula is wrecked owing to the riffs-raffs such as Australia, they must be held wholly accountable for it. -0-

KCNA Commentary on S. Korean Conservatives' "Security Offensive"

Pyongyang, October 24 (KCNA) -- The south Korean conservative group has gone to extremes in its racket of confrontation with the compatriots in the north.

During the "parliamentary inspection of the administration" the conservative group led by the "Liberal Korea Party" termed the issue of turning the disputed waters in the West Sea of Korea into peace waters, which was specified in the military agreement for implementing the Panmunjom declaration, something like "being lured into the tactics of the north." They clamored for not pardoning such "abandonment of security" and "vacuum in security."

This is just a blatant challenge to the aspiration and desire of all Koreans and the international community for the easing of the inter-Korean military tensions and regional stability.

To mitigate the military tensions and defuse the danger of war on the Korean peninsula is a very crucial issue related to the destiny of the Korean nation and is directly linked with global peace and security.

The military agreement which was adopted as an annexation of the "September Pyongyang Joint Declaration" specifies the practical steps for turning the Korean peninsula into a zone of durable peace.

MBC of south Korea commented the agreement as a "substantial progress for detailing the Panmunjom declaration", saying the point is that it contains the detailed ways to completely remove the source of all accidental collisions that may occur on the land and in the waters and the sky.

Other media termed it an "actual inter-Korean non-aggression agreement" and "inter-Korean promise to open up a no-war era."

As seen above, only the conservative group of south Korea is hurting and opposing the north-south agreement hailed by all Koreans and the international community.

At a time when national reconciliation and unity, peace and stability have become the general trend, only the conservative group of south Korea is talking about trite "security." It only betrays its ulterior design to create uneasiness among the public and stem the trend of detente and peace.

The conservatives' "security offensive" is just an act of inciting a cold war.

It again shed light on the true colors of the conservatives as criminals who have amassed fortunes and sought luxury in the trouble waters of the cold war of confrontation and hostility.

There is a saying that a caravan is bound to go ahead though dogs bark.

As solemnly clarified at historic land of Panmunjom, there will be no war on the Korean peninsula as a new era of peace has opened.

It is just a pipedream to go against this strong trend. -0-
