The Korean Friendship Association of the UK (KFA UK ) organised a picket of the British Broadcasting Corporation under the title “Down with the British Brainwashing Corporation - No More BBC Lies” . The picket was lively and militant , it was probably the biggest KFA UK picket of the BBC in recent years .
Participating in the picket were officials and members of KFA UK along with members of the New Communist Party , the CPGBML , British Posadists and anti-imperialists in London .
KFA UK Chairman Dr Dermot Hudson made a short speech in which he pointed out that “The BBC represents the ruling elite , the so-called “Epstein class “ . In fact in the past , the BBC employed the likes of Jimmy Savile and Huw Edwards . Who knows if there more of such people at the BBC . BBC staff enjoy massive salaries paid for by the extortionate BBC licence fee of £180 per year and the taxpayer.
The BBC’s lies about People’s Korea are endless and are too numerous to mention . They insult the DPRK by calling it “North Korea “ and not using the correct title .
The BBC simply reproduces and recycles the lying propaganda of the south Korean puppet fascist regime , the ROK . The ROK is the sworn enemy of People’s Korea and the No 1 hostile state . In recent months and weeks the ROK puppet regime created a false flag incident over a an alleged landmine explosion . The BBC simply repeated the false allegations of the ROK puppets . The BBC is an accessory to the war propaganda of the ROK puppets against the DPRK.”
Dr Hudson also denounced the BBC for spreading fake news about a so-called “Crypto-currency heist “ saying that “The DPRK does not need "crypto-currency " , it is beating the US and UN sanctions through self-reliance . This is just another fake case to frame the DPRK”
Alan Bolon KFA UK Organisation Secretary and head of KFA UK West of England also addressed the picket . He denounced the lies of the BBC and cited proven examples of the BBC lying about the DPRK . He also draw attention to the fact that the BBC had purposely and deliberately ignored a protest letter sent by KFA UK in November 2024.
Picketers chanted “ Down with the British Brainwashing Corporation ! “ , “BBC stop lying about People’s Korea “ , “Defend People’s Korea “ and “Long live self-reliance ! “.
Banners of KFA UK and DPRK flags were displayed along with banners of different political organisations.
The picket concluded at 16.20 hours GMT .
