Army and People of DPRK Ready for Escalated Skirmish and All-out War
Pyongyang, December 11 (KCNA) -- The war confab of the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean warmongers is, in fact, little short of a declaration of an all-out war aimed at the escalated skirmish, declared a spokesman for the National Peace Committee of Korea in a statement released on Saturday.
He went on to say:
The U.S. imperialists and the puppet warmongers held a meeting of the chairmen of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of south Korea and the U.S. in Seoul on December 8 at which they discussed a very dangerous war scenario calling on the puppet forces and the U.S. imperialist aggressor forces to mount a military attack on the DPRK under the pretext of "deterring provocation" of someone.
The U.S. imperialists openly approved the puppet forces′ plan to attack the DPRK by mobilizing all fighters and warships, etc. not bound to the existing "rules and regulations for battles," touting "their right to self-defence." They, at the same time, declared they would consider the proposal for supporting the puppet forces with "information about north Korea" and with "F-22 Raptors" advertised by them as the "most sophisticated fighters in the world" in case of a war between the north and the south of Korea.
This indicates that the U.S. is fully joining in the puppet forces′ moves for a war of aggression against the DPRK after throwing away the disguise of a hypocrite.
The puppet warmongers are behaving like mad dogs after facing resolute punishment by the Korean People′s Army for their reckless military provocations. They are going reckless, vociferating about "retaliation" and "punishment."
The U.S. is zealously egging the puppet forces on to kick up military hysteria, dispatching its military brasshat to Seoul, reinforcing its armed forces for aggression, escalating war exercises and rounding off its "plan for limited war."
It is as clear as a pikestaff that if the puppet army mobilizes all flying corps, warships and missiles for a war against the DPRK and the U.S. imperialists join them with latest military hardware involved, it will develop into an all-out war, not confined to a local war.
The above-said war confab made it clearer that the warship sinking case and the Yonphyong Island shelling incident cooked up by the puppet group and the U.S. imperialist warmongers were aimed at sparking off an all-out war.
It is ridiculous for the puppet group to talk about "right to self-defence" and the like as it is no more than war servants and colonial stooges of the U.S. Its outbursts are nothing but sheer sophism intended to cover up its military provocations and war moves.
The situation on the Korean Peninsula is inching close to the phase of an all-out war due to the reckless provocations of the U.S. imperialists and the puppet warmongers.
The prevailing situation reminds one of the eve of the past Korean War when the U.S. imperialists instigated the puppet forces to launch invasion of the DPRK.
Should an all-out war break out again on this land, it will never confine to the boundary of the peninsula.
The army and people of the DPRK are ready for both escalated war and an all-out war.
They will deal merciless retaliatory blows at the provocateurs and aggressors and blow up their citadels and bases and thus honorably defend the dignity and security of the nation.
The warmongers of south Korea and the U.S. imperialists had better behave themselves, bearing in mind that their ignition of a dangerous war will bring them nothing but self-destruction.

DPRK Has Free University level education
It is interesting to note that in contrast to the UK and other capitalist countries university level education in the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea is completely free of charge.There are no increasing tuition fees,students are provided with scholarships not only that but they can free accomodation and free clothing.What a contrast to the UK where students face increasing tuition fees and risk a life of debt if they go to university.

Supporting the DPRK
It is vital for all communists,socialists ,anti imperialists and progressives to rally around and support the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea more strongly than ever before.The DPRK is a revolutionary anti imperialist independent socialist country,the homeland of the Juche idea-the idea of independence,self sustenance and self reliance.It is a true socialist country that finds itself in the gunsights of imperialism,indeed it is the only socialist country exchanging fire with the puppets of imperialism.

Subtle anti DPRK brainwashing by distorting facts
A few months ago a comrade raised the issue of a BBC report on the DPRK.This used distortion and skillful manipulation of facts rather than outright blatant lying.The fact is that outright lies after a time wear thin especially on intelligent sections of the population.If you believed all the stories about starvation in the DPRK by rights there would be one living in the DPRK, indeed people would have starved to death several times over.
So the more insidious form of distorting facts is employed by the imperialist media and so called information services.For example looking at the Wikipedia I read an entry on Sariwon city which I have visited.Not too much information actually there which was disappointing but a reference to the Sariwon paedriatic hospital which they claim is the only paedriatic hospital in the region serving 16 districts and 500,000 children.Oh no shock horror !!!!Funny how the wiki manages to find detailed information but drews a blank on other aspects of life in Sariwon.Of course what the article misses out is that that Sariwon City has peoples hospitals no 1 and no 2 plus the provincial peoples hospital for the North Hwanghae province plus clinics in the suburbs and the surrounding rural areas,all of which can treat children as well adults.

Pyongyang, December 9 (KCNA) -- The Secretariat of the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea released a detailed report on Wednesday laying bare the truth and nature of the Yonphyong Island shelling incident in the West Sea of Korea. It clarified internally and externally who was the provocateur and who was to wholly blame for it.
The report said:
The Yonphyong Island covers just 6.8 square km and it has nearly 18 km in circumference. But this small island has been fortified as such core military stronghold that the puppet forces call it "area for top class guard." A brigade of the puppet marine corps and "K-9" self-propelled artillery pieces of more than one company are deployed on the island and it has a dense network of detection means and intelligence-gathering and communication facilities.
It was waters not far from Yonphyong archipelago that patrol ship of the puppet forces "Cheonan" sank in March this year. The puppet warmongers have persistently escalated the tension in this area, crying out for seeking "revenge," and at last went the lengths of perpetrating direct shelling under the pretext of a military exercise.
The motive of the incident and the background against which it occurred make it clearer that it was a deliberate provocation of the puppet forces.
The above-said island is located deep inside the territorial waters of the DPRK side from the maritime demarcation line. If any live shell firing is conducted from there, shells are bound to drop inside the territorial waters of the DPRK side no matter in which direction they are fired because of these geographical features of the island.

KCNA Warns against U.S. and S. Korean Puppet Group′s Rash Acts
Pyongyang, December 5 (KCNA) -- The Korean Central News Agency is authorized to release Sunday the following report:
The south Korean puppet group, far from drawing a lesson from the deserved punishment it faced for its reckless firing of shells into the territorial waters of the DPRK side around Yonphyong Island, is getting more frantic in military provocations and war moves under this pretext.
The puppet group staged the largest-ever madcap combined exercises together with the U.S. in waters of the West Sea of Korea with its nuclear carrier flotilla involved right after the shelling incident on Yonphyong Island. It plans to stage large-scale combined naval maneuvers with huge armed forces of the U.S. Seventh Fleet including its nuclear submarines involved in the near future.
It noisily announced that firing exercises would be staged at 29 places in the East, West and South seas of south Korea simultaneously from Monday.
Taechong Island, one of the five islands in the West Sea very close to the territory of the DPRK, is included in them.
The puppet forces are loudly advertising that they would fire shells into the territorial waters of the DPRK side from Yonphyong Island, i.e. in the same direction they did when committing the recent provocation. This indicates how frantic they have become in their provocative acts.
They are getting very busy massively introducing latest weapons including MLRS and missiles into Yonphyong Island to reinforce the fire power and installations and stage a take-shelter drill.
The puppet military war-like forces were reported to have already worked out the so-called "retaliatory plan" which calls for sparking off an armed clash after getting on the nerves of the DPRK militarily and taking a large-scale counter-action under this pretext and designated Yonphyong Island as an ignition point to put it into practice.
This indicates that the Lee Myung Bak group is set to orchestrate the second Yonphyong Island incident at any cost and ignite a war come what may under this pretext.
The puppet group is so hell-bent on the moves to escalate the confrontation and start a war that it is recklessly behaving, bereft of reason.
The war-like forces including the new puppet defence minister vociferated about the "principal enemy" and the like while daring take issue with even the leadership of the DPRK. They blustered that they would make a "precision strike" at artillery positions of the DPRK and "reduce them to ashes" by modifying the "rules for battles" and setting in motion all the war means including aircraft. They went the lengths of letting loose outbursts that they would use the defence positions on the five islands in the West Sea as springboards for attack from which to strike the strategic targets deep inside the territory of the DPRK including Pyongyang.
The frantic provocations on the part of the puppet group are rapidly driving the situation on the Korean Peninsula to an uncontrollable extreme phase.
No one can predict to what extent the situation will deteriorate in the future.
The DPRK is now maintaining a maximum self-possession and self-control.
If an all-out war breaks out between the north and the south, it will seriously affect peace and security not only on the Korean Peninsula but in the rest of the region.
Public opinion at home and abroad and the parties concerned are called upon to pay a serious attention to the daily worsening situation on the peninsula and properly understand who is a provocateur and who is a defender of justice.
