This is the Arch of Triumph in Pyongyang, the capital of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, built to hand down to posterity the undying exploits of President Kim Il Sung (1912-1994) who liberated his lost country by organizing and launching a 20-year-long anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle.
