On March 16, employees working at attachments for Kia Motors went on a stay-in strike at a working place in demand of improvement of working environment and suspension of suppression of the trade unions.
At a news conference, they stated that they have fought for the right to labor for fourteen months. They required the firm to improve poor working environment, suspend the suppression of the trade unions and ensure activity of the trade unions. However, the firm cracked down the trade unions by forming the company union sycophant to the management side. The company union is not on the employees’ side, they would carry on action until the firm complies with the trade unions, they stressed. |
