Pyongyang, January 15 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and supreme commander of the armed forces of the DPRK, had a photo session with the delegates to the 8th Congress of the WPK on Thursday.
Present there were Choe Ryong Hae, Jo Yong Won, Ri Pyong Chol and Kim Tok Hun, members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK, and members and alternate members of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK.
The delegates were greatly excited and delighted as they had the honor of having a photo taken in presence of the respected General Secretary against the venue of glory where the 8th Congress took place.
They recollected with high pride the days of the congress when they elected Kim Jong Un, the symbol of all victories and glory of the Korean people and the outstanding leader of the Juche revolution, as general secretary of the WPK, and received a practical programme for making a radical advance in the development of the Party and the socialist construction.
When the General Secretary appeared at the venue of the photo session amid the welcome music, all the delegates broke into stormy cheers of "Hurrah!", extending the highest glory to the General Secretary who glorified the 8th Congress of the WPK as a congress of struggle and progress for improving the leadership and fighting efficiency of our great Party in every way and hastening a new victory of revolution with confidence.
He warmly waved back to the delegates filled with fervent enthusiasm and will to remain boundlessly faithful to the Party and the revolution, the country and the people.
He posed for a picture with the delegates, expressing belief that they would break through all challenges and obstacles in the advance with the revolutionary spirit of Paektu, the spirit of self-reliance and fully discharge their revolutionary duty in the struggle for implementing the decision made at the 8th Congress of the WPK as the core of the Party and the pioneers of the era, under the uplifted red flag of the Juche-type Party.
All the delegates vowed to make a breakthrough in the struggle for the overall development of Korean-style socialism under the blueprint unfolded by the 8th Party Congress, closely rallied close around the respected General Secretary. -0-
