As you know, we will soon greet the 79th birth anniversary of the Great Leader Comrade Kim Jong Il. 16Th February is an auspicious day for our people and the world progressive people.
The immortal revolutionary life of the Great Leader Comrade Kim Jong Il is a true example and textbook of patriotism which showed how to love and serve the country and people by his own practice. He is a brilliant ideological theoretician, outstanding leader and iron-willed commander, but to most, he is a true patriot.
The life of Comrade Kim Jong Il which was devoted to the construction of a powerful nation is one of most active and sacrificial devotion. Regardless of holidays, celebration days and even birthdays, he was on a march for the progress of the country and the happiness of the people, and he passed away on a train on the way to on-spot guidance.
The Great Leader Comrade Kim Jong Il is a great personification of patriotism who left nothing behind for himself and devoted everything to the country, people and children.
At the same time, Comrade Kim Jong Il firmly defended the banner of independence in the midst of political storms which swept the earth and never compromised with or showed mercy to the enemies who wanted to invade the dignity and interest of our country and nation.
Our country could become one of the world's military powers and also could have successful external relations due to the Comrade Kim Jong Il who held high the banner of Songun in order to defend the dignity and security of our Republic and people.
The Great Leader Comrade Kim Jong Il is a great politician who realized successfully and handed down the single-hearted unity – the powerful weapon of Juche Korea.
The single-hearted unity between the leader and people is the most powerful means to guarantee the existence and development of a state. Physical means have their limits, but the might of single-hearted unity is limitless. The strength of Juche Korea which enabled us to stand up and achieve successful advances even under the long-existing harsh ordeals and difficulties(the one unimaginable for others) is the might of single-hearted unity realized and strengthened under the leadership of the Great Leader Comrade Kim Jong Il.
With the one and only single-hearted unity bequeathed by him, our republic will shine forever as the invincible fortress of socialism.
