Pyongyang, August 12 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the DPRK Foreign
Ministry gave the following answer to the question put by KCNA Friday as
regards the fact that the U.S. pulled up the DPRK over the issue of
religious freedom:
The publication of the "2015 International Religious Freedom Report"
by the U.S. Department of State more clearly proved that the U.S., the
sworn enemy of the Korean people, remains unchanged in its hostile
intention to destabilize the DPRK and bring down its social system at
any cost under the pretext of "protection of human rights" and "freedom
of religion."
The U.S. has already lost elementary qualifications to talk about
human rights as it has outrageously interfered in the internal affairs
of sovereign states in various parts of the world and infringed upon the
sovereignty of other countries and nations under the deceptive
signboard of "protection of human rights" and "democracy."
Finding it hard to bring down the DPRK by force of arms, the U.S is
now making last-ditch efforts to tarnish its international image and
stir up the atmosphere of putting international pressure on it by
kicking up the anti-DPRK "human rights" racket.
Under this situation the DPRK will bolster up in every way its
self-defensive military capabilities with nuclear deterrence as a pivot
in order to safeguard its power and revolution. -0-
