Channel Four's "Dispatches" carried a re-hashed version of the Vice News
lies about "forced North Korean labour" being used in European Union
countries. "Dispatches" was attempting to link the issue with Brexit, by
saying that North Korean workers will fill the positions left by Polish
employees. Who watches Channel 4, anyway. The programme came across as
the poor man's version of Anti-DPRK propaganda, usually performed by the
likes of the BBC! So the DPRK is not only under attack
from the conservative and right wing BBC but from the trendy liberal
Channel 4( funny how when the chips are down liberals and right wingers
speak with the same voice).
The programme was be one
of the most ludicrous ever suggesting that low wage rural employers will
hire a DPRK workforce after Brexit. How completely silly. This would be impossible under the UK sanctions against the DPRK.
The DPRK sends a very small number of workers abroad under bilateral agreements and is not a major exporter of labour in the same way as Poland for example As stated by KCNA "The DPRK's workers dispatched to foreign countries on the voluntary
principle according to the legitimate contracts with them are striving
to develop the economy of their country and boost the external economic
exchange under working and living conditions as required by
international law and the DPRK's law."
Why does not the capitalist media report the huge number of south Koreans who work abroad and the massive emigration from south Korea which runs into several million people ?
Channel Four is just recycling the lies put around by the US imperialists and south Korean puppets. Why ? Because last year Channel Four signed a sponsorship deal with the south Korean capitalist monopoly conglomerate Samsung(which is said to 70 or 80 per cent based on Japanese money). 'He who pays the piper, calls the tune ' as they say !
