The
fourth all-out people's action was staged in Seoul on Feb. 27 in
protest against the south Korean authorities’ reactionary rule peppered
with sycophancy and confrontation with fellow countrymen.
Participated
there were over 200 000 people of various circles including the Korean
Confederation of Trade Unions, the Federation of Peasants Associations
and members of about 50 civic bodies.
Memebers
of the April 16 Solidarity, the Public Servants Trade Unions and the
People's Action for Peace against War assembled in Seoul.
They demanded the regime punish those responsible for the murderous suppression, probe the truth about the ferry Sewol disaster and stop at once the retrogressive revision of labor reform and import of American rice.
They
denounced the regime for glossing over the crimes related to sexual
slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army through the humiliating
"agreement" with Japan and trying to deploy US THAAD in south Korea.
The
action headquarters called for the workers to make this as a year of
all-out people's action to punish the Park regime and declared that it
would open a pan-national rally on March 26.
At the end of the rally the participants staged a demonstration, condemning the regime's tyranny.
Days
are numbered for the Park Geun-hye regime, which disturb security of
the nation and ignore the people’s livelihood, to come to a close.
